Valentino's 1997 Fall/Winter collection was all about celebrating 90s glamour and luxury. This stunning dress features a shimmering golden ruched bodice and a hand-detailed, rich tapestry of delicately woven wheat and floral motifs. The garment retains its Valentino Boutique tag; however, the materials tag has been lost to time. The material of the dress feels like lurex, and the embroidery feels like silk thread.
Condition: Amazing vintage condition. The garment retains its original elastic, and some of the lower half of the ruching has lost elasticity over time.
Measurements lying flat: Pit to pit: 12 inches, waist: 11 inches, length from pit to bottom hem: 26 inches, total length: 34 inches.
